Switchting to StaticDB, Full-Text search no longer working

Hello,

Our OTRS 3.3.5 system has reached over the 80K of tickets and so I followed the recommendations to Switch to StaticDB.

In SysConfig I changed Ticket::IndexModule & Ticket::SearchIndexModule to StaticDB and then I ran the otrs.RebuildTicketIndex.pl script.

After the change I restarted the server and when I connected again I noticed that our Fulltext-Search was no longer working :-(

I can't find any errors in the log and the only thing that I thought was strange was that the bin/otrs.RebuildTicketIndex.pl was very quickly finished.

When I switch back to RuntimeDB it works all fine again.

there might be some.

First you should update to the latest Patch level of you version, then read the instructions in sysconfig for the settings you changed.


Run otrs.RebuildFulltextIndex.pl
"Production": OTRS™ 8, OTRS™ 7, STORM powered by OTRS
"Testing": ((OTRS Community Edition)) and git Master
