Error sending message - Bad file descriptor!

Dear All,

After installing some windows updates, our OTRS system has stopped sending emails!
We are using Exchange 2007 as an email server.

On the OTRS system we get the following errors:

On the email server (Exchange 2007) we get the following messages:

Any ideas on how i could troubleshoot this further are more then welcomed!
