Hello
In my OTRS there are a lot o users from external companies and mainly if they have some problem they send an e-mail for especially prepared e-mail address. These users do not have internal customer accounts in OTRS but when customer sends an e-mail OTRS creates a ticket and based on e-mail address set CustomerID e.g. JohnBrown@company.com. It is enough for me and works great.
But when I'd like to create a new phone-ticket and during creation I manually type e-mail address in Customer User and Customer ID fields then CustomerID field in Ticket information table is blank. Do you maybe have some idea in which way I could set the CustomerID.
