Hi,
We need to install OTRS on Ubuntu (14.04LTS Server). Which way would it be better; using the source or using the Ubuntu packet manager ?

I would say source, but better is in the hands of the IT professional.
OTRS 6.0.x (private/testing/public) on Linux with MySQL database.
