Update OTRS Appliance 4.x to 5.x ?

Hello,

It is thus with a heavy heart that we have ceased development on our Windows Installer and the OTRS Appliance

In march 2015 I downloaded the OTRS linux based 4.x appliance as a target to migrate my Windows OTRS installation. I was really happy because the appliance was easy and quickly setup. I can see now that there's no more appliance and a version 5 of OTRS.

The question is, should I still use the Linux appliance ? And if so will I be able to update to version 5 ? Or I must install my own Linux server (like openSuse 13.x) then install OTRS, update and then migrate my data ?

You have to migrate to another server or to a cloud based solution.
