New 5.01 functions

Well I tend to believe that in 5.01 Auto responses deprecated silently from Ticket Notifications. Can anyone confirm that?

Auto Replies where never part of the Notification backend and are still implemented like before.

The main difference is that "Notification (event)" and "Agent Notification" are merged

Thanks jojo. Ι am sorry to hear that about. My auto-responses for queues specifically ( auto reply & auto remove are not configurable) when use auto-reply for new ticket mail reply is never returned to customer. Only follow-up is working. Thus I use Notifications in order customers get notified when they create a ticket that their ticket i being received.
Please do tell if I am completely wrong..is this above described a bug? Am I doing something completely wrong?

as the new notification backend can do at least the same like the old one, alos your usecase should be possible.

If the Auto Replies are not working, this seems to be some misconfiguration, most likely your mail server requires an non empty MAIL FROM

I have read for this you say about the Exchange....but this would take so long with other admins, especially are not helpful at all.
Please do make a comment also why these are not configurable: auto reply & auto remove are not configurable
