Is Office365 mailing Service works in OTRS 5 Free Version ??

Hi Team,

We recently Implemented OTRS 5 Freeware version in our Organization. While configuring Office365 under Mail Configuration, we are encountering an error.

I have attached the error screenshot. Can I some please look into the issue and do the needful.

Did you enabled IMAP access for this mailbox?

Yes, mentioned account enabled with IMAP access.

FYI... even gmail account also not able to configure.

Did you checked if all needed Perl modules are installed? What's the output of bin/otrs.CheckModules.pl?

Looks fine, then you should considering fix the imap settings, I guess it's IMAPS and not IMAP mail type. Details can be found here: https://support.office.com/en-us/articl ... 7113525f6c

Thanks. I changed the configuration from IMAP to IMAPTLS, now mail configuration completed successfully.

Now, please let us know how to change the configuration of already configured database.

Hi Root,

Mail Configured successfully. Now, I'm encountering new error, following is the error message "Error Message: Impossible to send message to: <email id>"

Please let me know if we need to change any configuration to resolve the issue.

this is not an OTRS issue, check the logfiles of your mail servers (or ask Microsoft for support)

Sysconfig Framework_> Core::Sendmail
- if you use SMTP/SMTPS/SMTPTLS ask your povider (Microsoft)
- if you use sendmail -> ask your Linux Admin

Issue resolved. Changed to SMTPTLS and provided SMTP Authentication details and failed emails are working now.

Can you please let me know how to change mail's retrieving time from mail box.

Can i see the config after you changed your smtlpls to smpt, what is the port?
