Notifications Spamming users

Hi Everyone,

i've hit a wall and so far i can't seem to find the issue. Randomly, my otrs will sometime start spamming a receiver with the same notification (and spamming is the proper term, as the user receives the same email notification 20 times a minute).

Now, one thing to consider, i did go through major updates recently (moving from 3.1.6 to 5.0.6) recently. Other than that issue, the system is running flawlessly and went through the upgrades without major issues. (yes i did follow the upgrade process like this : 3.1->3.2->3.3->4->5

Also one thing i get a lot is the following error in the System Logs over and over (searched a lot but couldnt find an exact explication :

error OTRS-CGI-10 No Type for Unclassified found!

Any help would be very appreciated

Any pointers would help, like specific logs i should look at on the system.

i tried to check in logs folder of my otrs install, but could not really find anything usefull that would explain this behavior.

Try upgrading to 5.0.9
