Create a new Template Type for Email Outbound

Hello all,

I use E-mail Outbound to send e-mail to my customers and to gain time I want to use templates of the most commom e-mails I send.

In my OTRS Admin > Templates

I have the following Types of Template:

Create
Answer
Email
Forward
Phone Call
Note

And NONE of those types applies to the E-mail Outbound screen.

So i went ahead and created a new Template Type in SYSCONFIG > Core::Ticket > StandardTemplate::Types (see http://imgur.com/CG9nV3x)


And now I am able to see "EmailOutbound" in the template type dropdown but doesn't matter what I add it never get to the page, I am not sure what I need to do to link the E-mail Outbound to this template type, I was able to add a Dynamic Field to Email Outbound but I see NO option to link dynamic fields with a Template type.

I hope I could make myself clear on my question.

Hello JOJO, thank you for your reply.

I thought email would be the correct option but it doesn't look it is (Or I am missing something)

I don't think I need an extra step after the template that's why I think I need a new template type linked to Email Outbound screen. What do you think? do you a template on your Email Outbound?

did you assign the template to the queue?

Ooooops JOJO, it's working now, you were right the Email was the right option, I just forgot to link the queues. MY BAD!
