Using links (urls) in article text: Javascript doesn´t work

Hi there,

I´m experiencing an strange issue with otrs and links / urls in article text (notes, phone calls, whatever).
First I thought it would be an issue just within our environment, but even if I try the OTRS Onlinedemo the issue occurs.

Try the following to reproduce the issue:

• Write a link into an article text (i.e. http://www.google.de )
  Save the article
  The left click the link - a new window or tab with appears
  If this website uses Javascript - it won´t work
  (for google this means, that you can´t do anything in this tab (!); try to click on "search" - it won´t work, because javascript seems to be disabled)

If you use right click => open in new tab the site will load with javascript enabled - as usual.

I´m wondering why I don´t find anything on the internet about this, because it is a real problem if you have "less expierenced" users dealing with links in OTRS day by day.

Does somebody has the same issue? (Stupid question, as I have the problem even if I use the online demo of OTRS: http://otrs-demo.otrs.com/otrs/index.pl)

We use that same fix solution as you for now but when I updated our OTRS this morning, found out that bugfix and im wondering if its fixing it. Havent been able to test it out thought: https://www.otrs.com/release-notes-otrs ... -level-16/
