Hi,
I have looked at nagios web site and it mentions of a documentation integrating with OTRS. I haven't found it. I looked up here and found some links. Sadly they no longer work.
The developer I replaced didn't leave and documentation on what he did? I thought I might look for some documents, I'm not sure if the source code I am looking is complete or if there should be configurations I should be looking at too.
Help is much greatly appreciated.

You should have a look at https://github.com/OTRS/SystemMonitoring/ this is the way, the integration is done on most installations I know...
