I've been searching quite awhile in this forum and at other places about the possibility to import data, because I've received a question/request to see if it's possible that the "normal" user can import data directly into the dynamic fields of the tickets. The user got the idea from the statistics where reports can be created (and "import" is visible). Unfortunately this import is not what the user thought it is.
I found that there a many (?) different possible add-ons concerning import, but I don't know exactly what can be imported.
Does anybody know if it's at all possible to import for the "normal" user into dynamic fields of tickets?

What do you mean with "import into dynamic fields"? Can you describe more detailed what you want to achieve?

We have defined several dynamics fields for our ticketing. The fields include drop-downs, comments, date/time, text.
One user would like to import data from an excel-tabel into these fields instead of populating each field manually.
The excel table would contain the ticket-nummer and the fields to be imported (per ticket number).
So far I was not able to find out if such an import is possible at all.
