ACL help required

Hi.

We use OTRS for different departments and would like a way to restrict the next ticket states to those relevant to that department based on the queue rather than all of them being available.

I have read online a few documents that describe how to do this with ACL's but I am unable to make this work.

Any help would be gratefully received.
