Ticket Attachments add-on installation problem

This is my first post on the forum so firstlly I would like to say "Hello" to everybody here.

When I am trying to install an TicketAttachments add-on on my OTRS 6.0.24 like in the instruction:

Nothing happens. In the step 5. of the above guide, when I am trying to install a package only text "TicketAttachments .6.0.0" appears nothing else.

Any help will be appreciated.

Hello Mark and welcome to the forum,

To install third party add-ons, you have to enable the 'Package::AllowNotVerifiedPackages' setting.
Did you install a third party add-on in the past? If yes, you should also check the webserver log.

PS: Based on the description of the add-on, I am not quite sure why they are using a custom StorageModule.
Changing it might lead to issues in the future and it doesn't really seem to be necessary to enable the named features.

Unfortunatelly, it does not change a result of instalation of module.

One question should we threat a downloaded .opm file from site https://otrsaddons.com/products/ticketattachments as a third party module? Isn't it a official otrs website?

Nope, only add-ons from this source are from the xxx: https://portal.otrs.com/external/download-center
That doesn't automatically mean they are well programmed or work flawless, but you should always check the source of the add-on.

It's just like any other add-on based software.
OTRS, however, does not have an official add-on store which is managed by the software vendor or the community, like Wordpress, Chrome/Firefox web store etc.

Sources, I'd consider pretty safe: 100% free: OPAR | free and commercial: xxx, Znuny, feature-addons, and us (Efflux).
But that's just based on my experience.

You should contact the vendor for this error.

According to the main problem is somebody has a problems with add-on installation in OTRS 6.0.24?

Try another browser or try to install another package.

The package manager works fine on version 6.0.24.
