Neue OTRS 6 Installation auf CentOS 8?

ich soll bei einem Kunden eine neue OTRS Installation vornehmen.

Soll ich die auf CentOS 7 oder CentOS 8 machen?

Die Downloads beziehen sich ja nur auf CentOS 7. Wird CentOS 8 offiziell unterstützt bzw empfohlen?

Hi,

Installiere aus dem .tar.gz wenn Du CentOS 8 nehmen willst, das ist kein Problem. Ich hab das produktiv im Einsatz. Und ehe Du ange suchts: aktiviere das EPEL das bei CentOS 8 dabei ist und auch das Repo PowerTools. Da ist alles bei.

Hi,

jedes Linux, welches die Systemvoraussetzungen erfüllt, ist geeignet.
Ich würde jeweils das letzte aktuelle Stable (bzw. LTS) nehmen.
