Hello, everyone
System configuration: Centos8+Znuny6.035.
We receive email with system default configuration. This is executed once a minute, and the mails often be stuck. We tried to use postfix to improve performance. Please comment whether my plan is correct.Get emails through fetchmail to the local MTA (postfix) and push them to otrs using procmail, is it correct? I’m not sure how to transfer external mail to my local MTA?
Thank you for your help!

Re: use postfix
Hi,
yes it works like a charm. It is linux mailing default/standard.
set up a proper linux and a postfix, install procmail
let postfix accept mails from external
rename /opt/otrs/.procmailrc.dist to /opt/otrs/.procmailrc
forward all mails to otrs user
e.g.
your linux server name is ticket.domain.local
forward all to otrs@ticket.domain.local
postfix uses procmail
but PLEASE you need to know what you are doing. You must not set up your server as a open relay!
kind regards
Flo

Re: use postfix
Hi,
Sorry but if you say "I didn't understand technical things" you should really ask a mail specialist.
This is out of scope for me here.
Sorry for that
there is a simple overview for OTRS
https://doc.otrs.com/doc/manual/admin/6 ... -receiving
the mailing part itself... as I said is up to experts for mailing/postfix/...
kind regards
Flo
