Znuny packages on OTRS remove before upgrade to Znuny?

I am having installed

Znuny4OTRS-DownloadAllAttachments 5.0.1
Znuny4OTRS-EscalationSuspend 5.0.3
Znuny4OTRS-Repo 5.0.49

unclear if this shall be removed before I try to upgrade to znuny 6.0 (from otrs 5.0.42)

Can someone help here?

Hi,

Since you're using the symlink method there is no need. The files are no inside the new file structure. Execute the migration as described in the manual and after all upgrade these package. I recommend per command line (otrs.Console.pl Admin::Package::Upgrade URL)

but no idea what you mean with smylink method?
The packages have been installed via package manager a longer time ago.

Also not clear if the features of the packages are incorporated into znuny already, and thus obsolete?

when changing the symbolic link the files of packages are still in the old directory. Just copy the files which are mentioned in the manual.

Not in 6 and they will be automatically replaced when they are integrated, like Znuny4OTRS-Repo with 6.1
