ExternalTicketNumberRecognition and SMIME decryption

Post by Snowmanko »

Hi,

I recently configured SMIME encryption/decryption, everything works as expected, but I found maybe one problem.
When I turn on ExternalTicketNumberRecognition (setup is working - paring based on Subject regex).

Tickets that are incoming encrypted with S/MIME are correctly paired but they are not decryted as they should. Does someone know why?

Body of these tickets looks like this:
  • - no text message => see attachment -
  • there is attachement smime.p7m - SMIME encrypted message contained
When i turn off ExternalTicketNumberRecognition, messages are decrypted and I can see decrypted text in body.

Is it even possible for Kernel::System::PostMaster::Filter::MatchDBSource filter to use it when mail is encrypted with SMIME?
