Hi,
I've been tasked with migrating us from an old OTRS v3 implementation to the latest version of Znuny. Currently we use Kerberos with Active Directory but would like to move to use the native SAML support within the latest version.
I've taken a look at it seems it's dependant on Net::SAML2, but this isn't provided as a package in the latest Debian or Ubuntu releases and my experience with Perl is quite limited. I'm just wondering if anyone has implemented this on either of those distros and can provide some advice please?
I'm aware of CPAN, but again my experience of it is limited. If that is the only option I have, how do you maintain the latest version and does it play nicely with the pre-packaged modules from the package repos?
Thanks,
Leon

Re: 7.3.3 and SAML
Hi,
As far as I know, there is no Net::SAML2 package available with the default repositories for Debian or Ubuntu. I always install it from CPAN.

Hi Roy,
Thanks for your response.
I suspected as much. I'll take a look at the CPAN route.
Thanks,
Leon

Just as a little help. Use cpanminus, this makes your life easier when installing CPAN modules.
