how to fully backup OTRS system on windowXP!!!?????

Hi all,
i wanna to upgrade the latest version OTRS system but i want to backup my current version before to upgrade. (in case of i can fall back when fail to upgrade ).
So im using OTRS ver. 2.3.3 with windowXP SP3, the question i want to asking as above!!!!!!

hopefully, u guys can help me and suggest any idea to me for doing backup and upgrade

And also how to backup other configuration file...as i am unable to do it
