how do I personalize the customer.pl webpage so instead of it saying company name and logo it actually has my company name and logo

It's advisable to do the following in your own theme:
Edit (or copy to your own theme) Kernel/Output/HTML/Standard/CustomerHeader.dtl (near the bottom).
Likewise CustomerFooter.dtl
Edit (or copy to your own theme) Kernel/Output/HTML/Standard/CustomerHeader.dtl (near the bottom).
Likewise CustomerFooter.dtl
OTRS 6.0.x (private/testing/public) on Linux with MySQL database.
Please edit your signature to include your OTRS version, Operating System, and database type.
