top/usage going crazy

has anyone else seen some strange behavior with top on linux? my server was running a bit slow so i looked at top and it is going bananas (technical term). it looks like lsb_release is the biggest offender. This happens even when all users are logged off.

lsb-release? That's just to check what version of linux you use. I guess you must have a Ubuntu box then?

Since OTRS does not use this at all it is a Linux issue, please try a linux forum instead.

If you resolved it, maybe you still can post the solution?
