Search issue

Post by Jill Meyer »

Hi,

I am facing some problems with simple search functionality.
In case I choose "Created in queue" and "Close Times" and Ticket closed last 1 month or any time period I do not get any single match - even if there are several ticktes closed during this time period. In case I remove the "created in queue" I get all the tickets - even the one created in the selected queue from the previous search.

Any idea what is going wrong?

Did you try simply "Queue"?

yes. When I choose "queue" I get results - but when I choose "Created in queue" there are no results (if I define a closing date in addition)

I don't understand the problem, then. Your first post pointed to inability to filter for a queue at all, and "queue=x" seems to fix that part. It's *possible* that "Created in" queue may not be what you think it was (maybe it was "RAW" or MISC and transfered to the "real" queue via filter). Without looking at the ticket's history, I don't know if there's a good answer to provide, unless it's actually a bug.

Edit: I reread your last post, but I'd like to know if a "Created In" queue that shows in the list actually has a "Closed Date" in your range.

yes:
1.)
I do a search: Created in queue "A"
and get a list of many tickets. Even of ticket 123, received today and successfully closed today

2.)
I do a search: Created in queue "A" and Ticket Closed last 1 month
and do not get any results shown

3.)
I do a search: Created in queue "A" and Ticket Closed between 22.06.2010 and 22.07.2010
and do not get any results shown

If i modify my search and remove the created in queue option I will get results.

Im having a similar problem. In my case, the search does not return any result no matter what the condition is.

Any idea what the problem is?

Thanks,
