Is there any howtos and documentation to integrate OTRS and icinga (new nagios fork)?
Would be gratefull for any hints.

For it is still unclear why we should check OTRS from nagios? Isit optional?
Should I run both OTRS and Nagios at the same server and so on.
Is there any step-by-step instructions?

Checking OTRS with Nagios is optional.
You can run both systems on the same server but you don't need to.
There is no step by step guide, all needed information could be found in the linked presentation. We also offer consulting services for such kind of requests
