The checks of Kernel::System::Support::Cron returned no data

Post by gmarchionni »

Hi there!
I've been using OTRS for 2 and a half years now without too many problems....i've started with the Windows distribution first wich worked flawlessly for long a long time....In the last 8 months i've migrated to a virtual windows machine....and in the last weeks i'm migrating to a UbuntuVM.
I've installed just the command line interface and installed all packages and modules needed...without giant efforts... (just a little bit...the windows installation is really easy compared....)
I would like to congratulate with the developer(s) because it's a great piece of software....! I've been using computer in the last 15 years...and this is one of the best softwares i've used...!
Everything seems to be working ok and even the support assessment says all it's ok except this message:
The checks of Kernel::System::Support::Cron returned no data!
I've googled but did not find any informations....cron jobs seems to be working ok...
i've ony find a post saying the was a bug in a older "support assessment" packet....but it's not fixed and the version i got is newer.
What else should i check for? can you help me out? i guess it's not a critical bug as everything is working...but i would like to undestand why it's appearing....

thanks
Giulio

gmarchionni and skyman2000: what are the version of the package Support, in the Package Manager of the admin area? It's the lastest (1.1.3 now...)? If not, upgrading it don't solve the problem?

Actually a couple of days after the problem disappeared after upgrading to new Support package.
Maybe the problem was the package itself.

Thanks for the answer anyway....

Hi,

I've moved my otrs installation to another faster machine....and now i'm getting again the same Kernel Cron returned no data....
Does anyone else have the same problems? What message is it? where should i check to make this message disappear, if it's worth making it disappear....?
