Hi,

Newbie to the forum, but have been using OTRS since October last year.

I've been asked if it's possible to stop users from changing ticket ownership to a specific user. For example, I have a user called Steve. I want Steve to be able to view tickets, change ownership, add notes etc, but I don't want any other users to be able to make Steve the owner of a ticket.

I know I could do something with Generic Agent that resets the owner and lock status of any tickets that are assigned to Steve, but I really want it to be obvious to the user that they can't make Steve the owner. Either removing him from the list of possible owners, or some on screen message.

Removing the change ownership permission is not an option.
