POP3 error auth user fialed

I am uable to recive pop3 email . i am geting error pop3 auth user failed .

any help on that .

At the risk of sounding redundant, it means the credentials provided are not valid.

Short answer: your password/username combination is determined to be incorrect.

But i used same credentials in my other POP3 email client like Microsoft outlook it works fine . yes one thing i used diffrent that we have been using our domain with hosted on gmail server so i configured my outlook client as pop.gmail.com with port 995 & it is secure ( SSL ) so i tried both (pop.gmail.com) & mail.mydomain,.com in first case i get message unable to connect to pop.gmail.com & in second case i get error error auth user failed .

I am unable to resolve the issue till date , i have gone through the instruction but still no luck as same account works fine with my outlook pop3 account .

thanks for help after installing POP3 secure Perl module i resolved the problem with POP3S .

it works but but i am facing new issue , now i am able to send auto reply to my my domain along with my gmail domain but unable to send manual reply or auto reply to yahoo.com or hotmail.com

also i cant see send mail config in the sys config menu.

How did you install the pop3 secure perl module? Sorry, guess i should clarify: I'm having the same problem on a windows installation. Did you install OTRS on windows? If so, how did you get the POP3 secure module loaded? Also, do you know how to run the checkmodules script in windows?
