Hi,
The import/export module seems to be for configuring customers, customer users, items such as computers. I am wondering if it's possible to generate new tickets by importing a list of tasks from a csv file, assuming that you can set a template for customer/user/subject/task information/queue/owner/responsible etc.

There is no provision to do that natively. However, if you had a way to email merge the tickets (perhaps among the easier ways) or SOAP interface you could make it happen.
OTRS 6.0.x (private/testing/public) on Linux with MySQL database.
