Hi all!
I'd really need to attach files to CI's in Config item section of OTRS - ITSM. Is this possible?
There is no such field definition in predefined Config item classes...

No, not at the moment.
But there are several workarounds as using the FAQ. We also can develop this for you.

I'm just wondering.... do you have this in implementation roadmap?
This is realy something, that would make CMDB very usefull. CI's are also items like documentation, software licenses, contracts, ... It would be very nice to have a possibility to attach hard copy of these documents to CI record.

I would like to see the feature also
Attachements are available (almost) throughout OTRS but not in CIs
A bit off topic, but: statistics on CIs (execept which CIs do I have, ..) is not available
for Problem management, It would be a big help to see: how many tickets per CI in order to set action on this CI
