After looking around for a new Servicdesk Ticketing system for some time i'm now slowly falling in love with OTRS.
So on with the show , i've installed OTRS 2.4.9 on my Hyper-v / Ubuntu 10.04 installation, using the wiki documents.
After this I started looking at the many options/features of OTRS.
Somehow this looking around got met stuck in OTRS Time Accounting module. Everytime I login to the system i'm trown back to this page:
http://<otrsfqdn>/otrs/index.pl?Action=AgentTimeAccounting&Subaction=Edit , so it seems i'm adding or editing a Project , but I cannot select a project as there are none configured yet (remember I just started the system ?).

I managed to get a project created (just clicked on delete , then got back the menu bar , and was able to change the setting of TimeAccounting to add a Project called test with one Task called testtask) I can now pick this Project and the task from the list, even add start and end time, and the item is created in the 'Calendar' (Successful insert!) , it is also in the list.
But clicking on the OTRS link on the left top , is still kicking me back to the afore mentioned link). So I'm still stuck , even when deleting the just created 'Calendar' item.

Hate to say it, but unsecured my installer.pl via config.pm and deleted the DB. Then started installer.pl and secured it again. Testing continued

But still , it is a big Q to my how I got stuck this quick , or is this just a bug ?

So now I got my brand new installation , and can't testdrive it anymore.
Anyone have any suggestion on how to fix this ?
