Setting up the OTRS system, I was able to get LDAP working properly. However, I cannot seem to log in as an administrator with LDAP enabled. I have an administrator account in active directory, but the admin option is not listed. I removed the LDAP settings from the config.pm file, created a new user, and gave that user admin rights to the OTRS system. I tested the new user before adding the LDAP settings and had complete access to the system. I then restored the LDAP settings and restarted OTRS, I tested and could login using my domain credentials. However, using the credentials for the admin account I created, I could no longer log in.
It seems when LDAP is enabled through config.pm it overrides any existing users currently in the system. I was thinking about adding an account that mirrored my domain account but I am thinking it will cause a conflict. I was just wondering if anyone had come across this issue and if so how to get it resolved?

Thats how it works. Create a user with the same login like youe ldap account and assign needed permissions.
