Hello,
I'm still soaking in the whole OTRS system and have been greatly impressed with its functions and ability to customize.
I would like to know if I could allow customers to access to the file manager when they authenticate. Either read only access, or perhaps access to specific folders with separate permissions.... Example:
Remote Support Tools: Read only for Customers, RW for Agents
Software: Hidden to customers, RW for Agents or Specific Agents.

no, filemanager is only for agents. But you can configure your webserver for access to it (without authentication or http_basic auth)

You can, however, have FAQs that have attachments. Those would be available for all customers.
OTRS 6.0.x (private/testing/public) on Linux with MySQL database.
