How to upgrade from OTRS 2.1.4 on Centos to OTRS 3

Hi,

I need help upgrading OTRS 2.1.4 on Centos which was installed successfully to OTRS version 3.0.4 (The latest) How is it possible to do this upgrade without having to remove the old version and perform a clean install. Please advise with details of the commands to run at your earliest.

Just an FYI I installed OTRS 2.1.4 on centos following these instructions http://www.howtoforge.com/otrs_centos4.4 through PUTTY.

Please read Admin Book and the UPGRADING FIle of OTRS

You have to Follow the Steps 2.1 -> 2.2. -> 2.3. -> 2.4. -> 3.0

Thanks, now that I know I can't jump from 2.1 > 3.0 How do I start upgrading from 2.1 > 2.2 I checked the link you provided for the Admin Book that is just saying how to upgrade from 2.4 >3.0 Please could you provide some starting assistance on this I've no previous experience on Centos or OTRS. I'm using PUTTY as a cmd interface for Centos, if I was to do the otrs upgrade (2.1 -> 2.2) from the PUTTY command interface what would be the step or commands involved?
