Hello.
I've created a group HR. In Services, I have all the HR-Tasks defined. I would like to to link HR-Tasks to group HR. Is this possible? I had no success on this topic, browsing google/this forums.
I saw somewhere that I could possibly do this with ACLs, but I really don't know how to integrate this in my config.
I would like some pointers on how to get started with this. Thanks.
EDIT: Well, I've noticed Customer<->Service.
So I did following
Added user to group HR
Assinged user HR-Service permissions
When I login as customer with that user, and want to create a new ticket I can only choose Type of ticket and cannot choose To: neither Service:.
Link service to group / other issues

Re: Link service to group / other issues
A customer needs to be a member of a queue's group to choose a "To:"
OTRS 6.0.x (private/testing/public) on Linux with MySQL database.

Re: Link service to group / other issues
Hi, I understand iztok's question differenly than your answer because I think i have a simular question.
Lets say I have 3 groups + quese in OTRS, (IT OPS, IT SYSTEMS, HR).
For each of this groups I have one Agent that is responsible to log faults
If the AGENT that is responsible for HR (member of HR Group) logs into the system, they must only see the services that is applicable to them. (not see it ops or systems services).
Is this possible and how.
Many thanks
Gerhard

Re: Link service to group / other issues
Dear Friends,
I am using OTRS5 and exactly researching on this requirement. i.e linking customer group to services. In other words, restricting eligible services to customers depending on the group they select in the customer portal
Thanks
Sujeeva

This can be done with ACLs... with those ACLs, you can restrict the Service values based on the selected queue.
