Hello all,
I'm newbie to OTRS and trying to understand the system... So far I like it what I see but is there any way to reply back to ticket from your email client (Mail, MS Outlook, etc,) instead from the OTRS web interface.
For example, customer opens a ticket by sending email to tt@domain.com and OTRS replies to customer saying "TT#123456 has been created and someone will contact you shortly...". The NOC team receives this TT#123456 on their email client (Mail, MS Outlook, etc), now is it possible for NOC team to just hit REPLY and reply back to the ticket directly from the email client or they have to login to the OTRS web interface and reply from their?
Basically, trying to avoid going to OTRS web interface to reply to a ticket and just reply from email client...

please use the search in the forum. Per design it is not intended to work like you suggested as forging email is simple.
