Hello All,
We have been using OTRS for a couple of years, we have V 2.1.7 on Ubuntu.
Now looking to upgrade, I am trying to decide between Ubuntu server or centos
Any advice ?

You can use either, but the selinux of CentOS will need to be disabled to use OTRS. On a server basis, it probably doesn't matter. What kind of volume in tickets/day do you support? What kind of OS support are you willing to pay for? Can you get local or phone support for the OS? Build the server around that.
OTRS 6.0.x (private/testing/public) on Linux with MySQL database.
