Dear All,
I new to OTRS-ITSM package. I have installed 3.0.6 , latest ITSM package, Created a Customer and a configuration ITem belongs to him.
Now I need to link the both. This helps the customer / agent to raise the tickets against the configuration items belongs to him.
All I need is, tickets raised by a customer, should be against the config Items belongs to him (automatic mapping)
Any help / link to the wiki pages is appricated.

You can assign a user to the CI via the CMDB, but there is no automatic change in CI state when a ticket is opened by a user.
