Dear friends,
please note: - there is still a bug in the RPM scripts of OTRS and ITSM
- changes on your startup scripts (for example apache2-perl-startup.pl) get lost!
- your modification on TicketTypes (valid, invalid) get lost
- "Back" link in AgentITSMConfigItemZoom still not working (links to editmode)

Re: Update to 2.4.10
This is quite normal, since you reinstall the full package using RPM as indicated in the german thread you have opened.- changes on your startup scripts (for example apache2-perl-startup.pl) get lost!
All files that have been changed by you need to either be installed in an update safe directory or backed up properly. This would be the same as if you made changes to the .dtl files and wonder about these being overwritten during update. You need to have an on theme directory in this case and its just the same for your problem.
I´d suggest to update using the .tar.gz package than an rpm, without unpacking the $OTRS_HOME/scripts directory.

Re: Update to 2.4.10
Well, my opinion is: if I use the rpm -Uvh then it should take care for it - and: OTRS accepted it as bug

Re: Update to 2.4.10
When looking at the rpm user manual it says that 'rpm -Uvh' is a simple deinstall of the old package and a complete install of the new version.
This is not a bug but a usage problem.
