Year out of range error in Stats

I consistently get an error when I try to use Stat 10010 "Changes of status in a monthly overview". I have tried it in both v3.0.5 and 3.0.7. No matter what year or month I choose from the popups, I get:

When I searched this error, there was another posting with the same problem, but no resolution. Anyone know what's going on here?

Which year and month do you fill in (via dropdownbox)

And is the time on your server the same ?

The clock is correct and it doesn't matter which date I choose - it always generates an error.
