receiving e-mail in OTRS

How do I configure OTRS so I can send an e-mail to a file?

Like adding e-mails to an .rar file ?

what i want to say is that i want to receive emails and when i configure my mail accounts via the PostMaster Mail Accounts link in the admin interface. i have:
Message d'Erreur: IMAP: Can't connect to mail.new.com
and the error details are :

What this version the system? windows? linux?
because I use the ubuntu server, the configuration that I use... I enabled only the packages >> sendmail , fetchmail . in this case, your post have a reference to the fetchmail.

I understood your question....

I had this problem, I had forgotten to install fetchmail, and other possible errors that might be happening ... may be that you selected a wrong option POP3, IMAPS... verify in your frontend configuration ADMIN.
