Outbound Responses?

Post by Firewalk »

Is it possible to create outbound mail filters so that all mail going to a specific client comes from a single email address?

We receive work requests from an automated system. It sends all of its requests to a generic inbox. I have filters to go through the message and assign the proper queue, OTRS agent, etc. The problem comes when my agents update the tickets. Because my agent information isn't registered in the automated system, the system drops the email as spam, despite it having proper information about an already existing ticket.

What I'd like I'd like to be able to do is sort of a reverse filter, any email that's generated going to this specific account, automatically has the sender address remapped to the original inbox address.

Thank you,

Matt
