Hi to all,
We are using OTRS version 3.0.6 and I am using windows 7 os. Is there any way that I could get desktop alerts from OTRS for new tickets arrivals and for classified ticket in a queue?

OTRS 6.0.x (private/testing/public) on Linux with MySQL database.

Thanks for the reply. Yes My email client provides desktop alerts but the problem that I have here is that for classified tickets in a queue. For an example, we are working on one queue or a 1st Link support queue with different domains of 1st line support team. We will need to close all 1st line level ticket in the same queue before it escalated automatically to the 2nd level.
I am not sure whether there is a OTRS feature or not to receive email notification for classified tickets. the tickets that has been moved to a different queue - Yes we get notification but for classified tickets we do not have this set up. Can we do this or is there any other way?
