Merge two saperate OTRS instances

Hi,

I've a requirement to merge two separately running OTRS instances as a one instance. What common rules should I keep in mind to design an third OTRS in which all the agents, Customers, queues and everything will be available in one place?
OTRS 3.0.10 + mysql + CentOS 5.6.
