Does OTRS allow the support of clients/customers of a small IT Company or is this purely Internal Support???
If so, do you know of any suitable solutions for a small IT company to support their ticketing system for their clients.

Re: IT Company Support
OTRS not only can be used for supporting internal customers but it can be used for supporting external customers no matter of you are large or small company.
That is the beauty of OTRS.

Yes and the 'customer portal' element is much easier to work with and configure than other commercial products I have worked with... I am now looking at extending that functionality across other non IT service departments as they like it too.
OTRS 2.4.7 and ITSM 2.0.3 on Windows server 2003 (running on VMware) with MySQL database connected to an Active Directory for Agents and Customers.
