Creating a template and word order

I am trying to create a work order and a change template. The create work order option is not available. Does it have to be enabled in admin?

Version: 3.0.x
ITSM installed 3.0.4

Any ideas!!!

I cannot create a change request as a template is required. Can not create a template as you need a work order to do that. CAn not create a work order since I can't create a change. Where do I go to disable the required tempalte on a change request or enable a work order creation off the menu.

Templates are never required. Just scroll down on the change or workorder create page

Thanks for the reply. I agree, however There is no create work order option on the menu or the change form and when creating a change selecting a template is required. How do I turn this off or does someone have a default template I use? Is there something I don't have enabled? If so, how do I enabled the work order feature?

Thats for choosing an existing template. you don't need to create one. seriously....

Ok but everytime I try to save the change request it gives an error saying that the tempalte is required. Obviously I'm doing something wrong or have something miss configured.

That's because you are clicking the create button, not the save button down the bottom?

Actually that happens when selecting save as well. I'm wondering if the module didn't install correctly.

Any other ideas. If not I guess it's time to rebuild from scratch.

Backup those database tables, uninstall the addon, and reimport the data?

Resolved...did a reinstall and that fixed the issues.
