Hi All.
I'm using the system monitoring addon to log tickets when an outage is seen by our monitoring system TheDude.
This is currently working excellently, however I would like to add more monitors to the system.
I've created the PostMaster Filters to send the emails to specific queues, however I would like to know if there is a way to get the system monitor addon to close tickets etc from multiple sources?
Any help would be great.

Re: SystemMonitoring
You should be able to use a PostMasterFilter unless you're talking about closing redundant tickets, and that may not be easy to detect.

Re: SystemMonitoring
Unfortunately, the postmaster does not support one thing that we would like.
We have notifications sent to us via other monitoring systems, namely;
enviroment monitor
ups
antivirus
We would like the system monitor to track the notifications from the enviroment monitor and the ups as well as the current dude monitor that it does so well.
I'm just trying to find out if anyone has ever gotten something like this to work so that when a fault is resolved with something it automatically closes a ticket.

Re: SystemMonitoring
The problem is unless the monitoring system knows about the ticket number, or can send something subject-wise that's the same, there is no usual way that OTRS can close a ticket related to the fault. If the subject is the same, you can use the followup subject option in SysConfig. (Sorry, I"m being a bit lazy at the moment to look it up.)
