Hi,

I wanted to know how we can create an automatic ticket for a particular queue by sending an e-mail to the mail-id of that particular queue. Can we configure a different e-mail id for each queue? Right now, I have only one common e-mail id which creates automatic tickets in one of the queues (When I send a mail to the mail address, a ticket is created in one queue). Now I want a separate mail-id where by sending an email to it, a ticket can be created corresponding to its queue.

So please help me how I can go about it for configuring all this... :)

It's probably easier than you think.

In Admin, Email Settings, Email Addresses add email addresses.

Forward or alias all email to one box.

In Admin, Email Setting, PostMaster Mail Accounts
change Dispatching to To: instead of one queue.

Or, alternatively, additional mail accounts for each new email address.
OTRS 6.0.x (private/testing/public) on Linux with MySQL database.
