OTRS ist plattform-unabhängig in Perl geschrieben. Der Windows-Installer für das normale OTRS installiert daher die passende Perl-Umgebung für Windows (mit Datenbank, Webserver und Cron), aber der dann darin laufende OTRS-code ist der selbe wie für alle Plattformen. Daher gibt es für Module wie ITSM auch keine Downloads für unterschiedliche Betriebssysteme, das ist einfach jeweils der selbe Code.
