Customers, groups & LDAP groups

Post by yuri0001 »

Dory afternoon, colleagues!
In SysConfig in Framework -> Frontend:: Customer -> CustomerGroupAlwaysGroups I ordered groups (associated with queues) for Customers where they may to see their proposal and respond at the request of agents. All this I did while working with Customers registered in OTRS: DB.
Now the next step.
I want to go to the registration / authorization of Customers through the LDAP /
Q: Should there be an LDAP Customers in the same LDAP groups (members of these groups) or will act CustomerGroupAlwaysGroups option and I need only include them in LDAP in the one group of LDAP - users? :? oops:
Perhaps the question for the experts LDAP stupid, but I'm in it a stump-stump, and a lot of buttons to press when registering a new client to include in all groups.
Thank you.
Best regards Yuri Kolesnikov

I don't know if I understand your question... Customers can't self-register in LDAP -- it's read-only and changes need to be made in the LDAP source.
OTRS 6.0.x (private/testing/public) on Linux with MySQL database.
Please edit your signature to include your OTRS version, Operating System, and database type.
