We populate the Customer_User table directly from our CRM database. Among the fields updated / inserted is valid_id which is set to 1 (valid).
For some reason, after a period of time, this status changes to 2 (invalid), disabling the customer. What would cause this?

This was not an OTRS issue - it was permissions-related to our CRM database.
